Xbloc® for Contractors
The Xbloc® is developed by DMC which holds strong links with the construction industry. DMC used its experience in construction to develop a single layer armour unit which is easy to produce, store and place.
Production and placement of single layer armour units has always been consuming a significant amount of time and money in construction of marine works. Therefore simplifying the process of production, storage and placement can achieve large gains. Above this, a significant reduction in material costs, concrete demand, and the amount of units to be placed is another benefit.
DMC is continuously developing applications of the Xbloc® resulting in for instance Eco Xbloc and Xbase®. Both versions of the Xbloc® can be produced using a standard Xbloc® mould.
