DMC receives first order for Xbloc® in Europe

Gouda, the Netherlands - Delta Marine Consultants bv (DMC) has granted the civil construction company Charles Brand Ltd® a licence for the application of the Xbloc® for the upgrading of Port of Oriel, Clogherhead, Ireland.
Port Oriel will be the first Xbloc® application in Europe.
This innovative concrete interlocking armour unit, designed to protect breakwaters and shores, has been developed by a team of coastal engineers of DMC and was introduced September 2003.
