Filyos Project

DMC has signed a license agreement with a JV of Kolin and Bayburt for the use of Xbloc in the Filyos Port Project in Turkey. The design of the breakwaters was carried out by Arti Proje and physical model tests were carried out at the AYGM hydraulic facilities in Ankara.

The project will comprise Xblocs of 4m3, 8m3 and 10m3 with a total quantity of 161,000m3.

Xbloc production is well underway and block placement has recently started.
